11 KETI KOTI- CANVASES SILKSCREENED WITH OBS THE TAMBOURINE
3 JULY 2018

July 3, the school celebrates with Keti Koti (broken chains), the 155th anniversary of the abolition of slavery. 250 children make a symbol that they screen print on their class canvas. Small symbols from the team fill the lanes between the children’s designs. The canvases are carried in a festive parade with all the children of the school.
