Inner garden consists of four canvases on four walls adjacent to and overlooking the inner garden of Altra College Haarlemmermeer. This work of art creates a connection between the courtyard and the school corridor. Outside in the courtyard, students made drawings of the plants and flowers and designed their own roots. They screen printed their plant shape on canvas several times. Each time the roots connect with those of another fellow student and a new contact pattern is created again and again. By connecting the roots, the school also wants to symbolically emphasize the connection, cooperation and growth between the individual students.
